Crock Pot Cornbread Dressing

This Crock Pot Cornbread Dressing is absolutely the best dressing I have ever had. So simple to make. Put it in the crock pot and forget it.

Moist and fluffy. Everyone agrees that this is now the cornbread dressing recipe of choice.

The veggies cook down and are not crunchy so watch the cooking time if you like them that way.

The recipe doesn’t call for it but you can add chopped up chicken and it’s excellent. Add more sage, onions, and celery if you like. The recipe is very forgiving!

Tips And Tidbits About Crock Pot Cornbread Dressing

For best results, the cornbread needs to be a little bit on the dry side. Day-old is ideal.

I prefer cornbread dressing, however, any kind of bread can be used. Even saltine crackers will do. Whatever you have – use it up! That’s how we roll in at my house.

If you don’t like the texture of a pure cornbread dressing all alone, you can mix the cornbread with some other kind of bread.

Basic Cabbage Soup – Delicious

This is a basic cabbage soup recipe that’s really simple, and very tasty! It uses ingredients that most will already have on hand.

The addition of potatoes adds more substance. A highly adaptable recipe to which you can add other ingredients that you have on hand or that the whim of the moment inspires you to add.

I like to add kielbasa. Pasta works well instead of potatoes.

I doubled the recipe – some for the freezer!

Very versatile soup! Perfect for a cold winter evening.

If you don’t want to use the crockpot you can simmer this in a heavy pot on the stove for an hour instead.

Tasty, hearty Crock-Pot Sausage and Mushroom Bake. A really enjoyable meal. A great combination of sausage, potatoes, mushrooms, and baked beans.

A tasty and wholesome meal that always turns out well. Great for those cold winter nights or any time of year really.

Also if you omit the chili it would be an excellent breakfast to wake up to.

The original recipe uses beef sausages, I prefer chicken but it’s personal taste.

I normally don’t even skin the sausages.

Slow-Cooker Hoisin Beef Stew

This Slow-Cooker Hoisin Beef Stew is really easy and so delicious! Really different for a beef stew. Serve it over jasmine rice.

I like to garnish it with sliced green onions.

Sometimes I like to add mushrooms or bamboo shoots and possibly bean sprouts.

With an overnight marinade and all day cooking, this warm and hearty stew is an aromatic welcome after a long day.

A side of steamed edamame or sauteed snow peas is a nice addition to the meal.
