Want to make hard cooked eggs but your eggs are fresh? A day on the kitchen counter is the same as a week in the fridge. No they won’t spoil!!! They never refrigerate eggs in Europe.
In the video the “shock” cooling was under running water only. To speed the process use ice water.
In addition crack the eggs well so the ice water can seep inside. The shock treatment separates the egg from the shell and makes it easier for the membrane to separate during the peeling process.
