Fried corn is a Southern treat and nobody does it better than Paula.
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 cups fresh corn kernels
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil thinly sliced
In a medium skillet melt butter over medium heat.
Add the corn, salt. and sugar; cook, stirring occasionally, 12 to 15 minutes or until the edges of corn are lightly browned.
- Stir in the basil.
Serve the corn immediately.
