The slow-cooker does all the work and the Beef Tips are delicious!
- salt and pepper
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1 lb bottom sirloin beef caps cubed
- 1/2 cup shallot chopped
- 1 lb mushroom sliced
- 1 10 1/2 ounce can condensed beef broth
- 2 teaspoons tomato paste or 2 teaspoons tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup red wine
- 4 -6 cups hot buttered egg noodles
Add salt and pepper to the flour. Dredge the beef in flour mixture.
Place the meat in the slow-cooker. Cover with the shallots and mushrooms.
Mix the beef broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and red wine; pour over the meat and vegetables.
Cook on low setting for 8 hours.
Mix 3 Tablespoons flour into 1/3 cup water, making a smooth paste. Add to the slow-cooker and cook another 45 minutes.
Serve over hot buttered noodles.
