Pasta with Mushroom Garlic Sauce is for garlic lovers. It is a quick easy meal for when you are rushed and want some comfort food.

Pasta with Mushroom Garlic Sauce

You’ll love the simplicity of the recipe and the fact that it’s restaurant quality.

I usually add a couple of ladles of pasta cooking water to the sauce to stretch it a bit and top it with a lot of Parmesan cheese once it’s plated. Fabulous!!

But then how could it go wrong with my three passions…garlic, pasta and mushrooms!

Pasta with Mushroom Garlic Sauce
Ingredients
  • 1 lb linguine cooked ala dente,drain
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 10 cloves garlic minced
  • 6 cups mushrooms sliced
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon teaspoon salt
  • pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • Parmesan cheese grated
Instructions
  1. In a skillet melt 2 tbsp of the butter. Add the garlic, allow to brown, then add the mushrooms, basil, Salt& Pepper. Cook until the mushrooms are just tender.
  2. Add the remaining butter and olive oil. Stir and remove from heat.
  3. When Pasta is cooked reheat the sauce and add the parsley.
  4. Mix with Pasta and enjoy!
