Ingredients

  • 1 -2 lb extra lean ground beef
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 2 cups diced cabbage
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 14 1/2 ounce can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 8 ounce can kidney beans
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  1. Brown the meat in a dutch oven and drain.
  2. Add the onions, celery and cabbage and cook until wilted.
  3. Add the water Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, salt and sugar. Add the tomatoes and beans.
  4. Cover and simmer 30 minutes.
