Sauté the onion and garlic on medium heat for 5 minutes. Turn the heat up to medium-high and add beef. Cook until no pink remains.

Add the tomatoes, tomato sauce, and Parmesan cheese and lower the heat and simmer for 20 minutes.

Cook macaroni while the beef mixture is simmering. Drain and combine the macaroni and beef mixture together. Let sit for a few minutes.
Pairs well with crusty bread and a salad.
