2poundslarge shrimppeeled and deveined
3large cloves garlic
1tablespoonkosher salt
1/2teaspooncayenne pepper
juice from 1 large lemonat least 1 tablespoon
1teaspoonpaprika
2tablespoonsolive oil
1tablespoonfresh parsleychopped
Instructions
Light a charcoal barbecue or heat a gas grill. Lightly oil the grate.
In a small bowl, smash the cloves of garlic with the kosher salt. Add the cayenne pepper and paprika, then add the lemon juice. Stir in the olive oil and mix the ingredients until you have a paste
Toss the cleaned shrimp with the garlic pepper paste - make sure all the shrimp are evenly coated.
Grill the shrimp until they are just cooked through, a couple of minutes on each side.
Sprinkle them with the chopped parsley and serve hot with lemon wedges.
